Basic Handcuffing is based on an internationally recognized program used by health care, law enforcement, and corrections to train personnel in the safe application and use of handcuffs. Topics covered in this 4 hour course include Handcuffing Nomenclature, General Handcuffing Guidelines, Handcuffing the Resistive, Non-Resistive, or Semi-Resistive Subject(s), The Prone Straight Arm Lock, Disengage & Decentralization Skills, and Use of Contact Cover.
Certification is good for 3 years.
