BailCo Bail Bonds Blog
A personal message from BailCo’s founder:
My name is Andrew Marocchini– I’m the founder and manager of BailCo. I’d like to welcome you to our site. Thank you for considering BailCo for your Connecticut Surety Bond and pre-trial release needs.
20 years ago, I took a part time job as a bondsman. As a young college student I had no idea that job would ultimately change the course of my profession and my life. Today, in addition to running BailCo, I am President of the Bail Association of Connecticut. I am also a Surety Bondsman and Bail Enforcement Agent instructor for the State of Connecticut. As a lobbyist I fight daily for your fundamental right to bail.

At the outset of my career, like most people my knowledge about bail came from sensationalized reality TV shows and the media. What I’ve learned since then is that bail is a vital part of our judicial system and the only unbiased form of pre-trial release a defendant has. The inception of the concept of bail into American jurisprudence came from the 8th Amendment to the United States constitution. This amendment contains three distinct clauses and is the shortest of the Amendments in the Bill of Rights:
“Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted.”
The origins of the language and concept date far before the formation of the republic; the Founding Fathers were determined to give the government into the hands of the people and take it away from officials and judges, who might inflict any amount of excessive bail or cruel and unusual punishment they desired. Bail bonds and bail agents are the best way that we, as Americans, can achieve the goal of avoiding excessive bail.
As one of the largest continuously operating bail providers in the state of Connecticut, BailCo strongly supports your right to due process and reasonable bail. Our professional bail agents will do everything we can to provide a transparent process for you or your loved one. We will secure their freedom and advocate for the pendency of the legal proceedings. In addition to posting the bond we can assist with finding an attorney, rehabilitation and employment. Thank you for your interest and we look forward to assisting you.
Best Regards,
Andrew Marocchini III
